Hello there, my name is Simon Burfield aka Burf and I work for O2’s Innovation Lab looking at new technology and how it can be used. A big part of my job is to rapidly prototype new ideas, this could be anything from building a mobile app, a VR experience or a new algorithm to detect number plates.
My passion is technology, the gym and building crazy robotics projects. I am privileged to be part of LEGO’s Mindstorms Community Partner (MCP) program (since 2011) and a VEX Robotics Super User (since 2012).
The main areas of technology that really interest me are mobile development, augmented reality, virtual reality and robotics (hence the LEGO Mindstorms addiction)
The aim of this site is to record my journey making stuff (games, robots, mess) and what I discover along the way.
