I have 17 Sanbot Elf service robots, about ten of them working. Since 2025 they have gone from demo apps at events to a native ROS 2 driver that runs on the robot itself: no bridge, DDS written in Kotlin, and a LiDAR on top. Along the way I found out the base is holonomic and can strafe.
