ROS2

I am currently learning ROS2 and am focusing at the moment on making a rover-type robot that uses ROS2 Control, Nav2 and Slam to navigate around its surrounding area.

The prototype above is powered by a Raspberry Pi 4 (4GB) running UbuntuMate 22.04 and ROS2 Humble. I designed it using TinkerCad. I have also plugged in one of the old Neato Lidar systems and a Raspberry Pi Cam v2. I got the motors with encoders off eBay and the whole system runs off of a 12v battery I had lying around

I followed the following YouTube tutorial on learning ROS2 and building a similar robot. I am now working on improving the setup, which once happy with, plan to upscale to something the size of a Sanbot size robot.
